Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki System of Natural Healing
Usui Reiki Ryoho is the name given to the original spiritual practice of Dr. Mikao Usui. The Usui System of Natural Healing, is a Japanese Healing Art.
It is a non-invasive complementary therapy. Reiki supports the medical model and can be used alone or as complimentary to medication or treatments.
It is a healing technique which is based on the principle that the practitioner channels energy into the person through touch. This activates the natural healing processes of the body and helps to restore physical and emotional well-being.
During a Reiki treatment you remain fully clothed and lay firstly on your front and then on your back. Our Practitioner then gently places their hands or hovers over different positions on or near your body.
Each person will experience Reiki in a different way and in each session depending on what your needs are at the time. You may feel different sensations of heat or cold and tingling. For some this may manifest as an emotional response to the changes that are occurring inside.
We are not trained to diagnose and recommend that anyone who is concerned about a particular symptom to speak with their GP.
Sessions last for one hour. The number of sessions you require will be up to you and what your needs are.
