How long are the sessions?

We usually advise clients to work in 2-hour blocks.  This enables us to get deeper and cover more which accelerates your change.  For some clients, this may be too long so we also offer 1-hour or 1 1/2-hour sessions.  This can be agreed upon during our initial chat and it is up to you to will work best.

 

How many sessions will I need?

The number of sessions required will depend on what you want to work on and the pace that works best for you.  This can be agreed upon during our initial chat and it is up to you to will work best.

How often will my sessions be?

The frequency of the sessions will depend on what you want to work on and the pace that works best for you.  For some people, this could be a weekly session at the outset and spread out further over time.  Some clients prefer to have more time in between sessions so this could be fortnightly or monthly.

Are the sessions confidential?

Yes, all communication whether by phone, text, email or during your session is confidential.  There are limits to this which we cover in our client therapy contract.  We also have regular supervision to ensure that our practice is safe and we are providing the best possible service to you.  Our supervisors only ever know a client’s first name and no other personal identifying details.
